Nutrition Strategies to Support Digestion During Stress 1. Eat consistently Skipping meals can further stress the body and worsen digestive symptoms. Aim for meals every 3-5 hours. 2. Prioritize protein Protein helps stabilize blood sugar and can reduce stress-related cravings. 3. Stay hydrated Even mild dehydration can worsen constipation and fatigue. Consider adding in an electrolyte powder such as Ultima or Hydrate. 4. Slow down while eating Taking 15-20 minutes to eat, chewing thoroughly-I like to say to applesauce consistency, and limiting distractions from phone, work, or even distracting folks eating around you ;) when you can, will help to improve digestion. You know that stress around the table, let's aim to reduce it as much as possible. 5. Include gut-supportive foods
